Ingólfshöfði is a peninsula in the Southern part of Iceland near the Vatnajökull glacier where, in 848, Iceland's first settler Ingólfur Arnason and his wife spent their first winter. Today, Ingólfshöfði is a paradise for puffins and gulls.
